  Could not be happy with my hair! The girls from Hair Candy Hope Island are all so lovely and welcoming and they are definitely very skilled at what they do! My stylist - Tia - has been absolutely wonderful and always ensures I am comfortable and happy with my hair!

  Hair Candy in Hope Island is awful, truly the worst experience I have ever had with any hair salon. From their automated computer text messaging, to taking different amounts of deposit money, it is an absolute debacle. I was told I had to pay $200 instead of $50 to secure two separate hair appointments over the Christmas period. The manager then told me that because I had to cancel less than 24 hours prior to the appointment they would have to take the full $200 dollars instead. I have proof that it has always been $50 dollars previously, and this is out and out robbery. I will be reporting them to trading standards and they will look into how they change the deposit amounts on their books. On top of this; they constantly text and ring to say ..”you need to pay the deposit” when it is already paid. Such lack of communication and too much emphasis on a computer system to run the business. They will tell you “it is our new system and we don’t get the messages’.
  When I go in to the salon I have varying results and come out with dark roots, and on many occasions a poor job. They had to actually re-tone my hair as it was ginger at the ends and I was told it was because of my hard water at home!!! Thing is I don’t have hard water lol!!?! This place is a shambles and they are extremely unprofessional in their approach and change the deposit amount required, which is completely unacceptable. I will never return to this place as my experience with them has been next level awful. Do yourself a favour and find a better salon with better communication, and better prices. Also, given the manager I supposedly spoke to today…. It would appear she needs to be re-trained in her customer approach, and building positive relationships with customers. I would give this place a zero if I could. Do not waste your money!

  Georgia is a keratin bond WIZARD, she has done such an amazing and incredible job with my hair i’m so happy with how it’s turned out she went absolutely above and beyond for my extensions, she is a goddess with hair, i feel so beautiful and i’m just so happy with the results, i couldn’t be more grateful for her work

  Highly Recommend. I had the complete in-salon experience, a beautiful warm brunette colour refresh, treatment, trim & full head of extensions - I left feeling brand new!! I was after added fullness and I got all that & more! The hair quality is amazing. I've had my extensions in for 4 weeks now and they've stayed so soft, with no matting! The girls at Hair Candy are so friendly and the salon is beautiful. I'm so grateful to have found a salon I love & trust! Can't wait for my next visit. Absolutely OBSESSED.
